The Falcons have added a defensive lineman.

Atlanta announced on Friday that the club has signed defensive tackle Eric Johnson.

Johnson, 28, spent last season with the Colts, appearing in 12 games. He was on the field for 16 percent of defensive snaps and five percent of special teams snaps in games played.

Johnson spent much of the offseason program and training camp with the Vikings, but was released earlier this week.

A fifth-round pick in 2022, Johnson has appeared in a total of 51 regular-season contests.
