The Philadelphia Eagles have officially poached a Dallas Cowboys player.
It was reported on Friday morning that the Eagles are signing Cowboys quarterback Joe Milton, who was on Dallas’ practice squad, to their 53-man roster. The Cowboys obviously chose not to promote Milton themselves.

In case you are unaware, the Eagles were dealt some scary news on Thursday as it was reported that Jalen Hurts is dealing with a “superficial blood clot.” He was ruled out of their game this week against the Carolina Panthers and obviously no one knows what the long-term status is there, he was ruled out indefinitely for context. Everyone hopes this is nothing serious or long-term.
Joe Milton really impressed in the preseason and there were fans concerned when he initially did not make Dallas’ own 53-man roster. He cleared waivers though and was signed to the practice squad, and again clearly the Cowboys felt like promoting him themselves right now was not an option at this time.
Jaydon Blue is currently on the Eagles’ practice squad so they are racking up some former Cowboys offensive players. It is certainly worth mentioning that Dallas visits Philadelphia a week from Monday night.
