Gloucestershire have brought back South African pace bowler Duan Jansen for the remainder of their T20 Blast campaign.
The 26-year-old left-armer took 16 wickets earlier in the competition when he played in six of the team’s group matches.
He initially joined the club in May as cover for Liam Scott after the latter was called up to Australia’s one-day squad.
He took a wicket every 8.25 balls across his 22 overs in the group stage with his best figures being 4-25 against Warwickshire Bears at Bristol in May.
Jansen is in the squad for Wednesday’s quarter-final with Northamptonshire and will also be available for Saturday’s Finals Day should Gloucestershire – the trophy winners in 2024 – progress.
