The Bulls have agreed to terms on an Exhibit 10 deal with undrafted free agent Donovan Atwell, Jake Weingarten reports for Stockrisers (Twitter link), calling the deal a potential steal.
Atwell played his senior season at Texas Tech after spending his first three seasons with UNC Greensboro. The 6’5″ shooting guard averaged 13.5 points while shooting 45.8% from three on 8.4 attempts per game. He’s a career 41.5% shooter from three, as well as an 89.6% free throw shooter, though he only got to the line 1.3 times this season.
Jeremy Woo had the lefty shooting specialist at 94 on his final big board for ESPN.
If Atwell is waived before the start of the season, he could earn a bonus worth up to $91K if he spends at least 60 days with the Windy City Bulls, Chicago’s G League affiliate.
