The Washington Commanders visit the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football this week. That means their normal practice schedule has been pushed back a day, and they are hitting the fields in Ashburn, VA to prepare for the big primetime game. Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before today’s session began, and answered more questions from last week, about this week’s game, and his future in Washington.
The team announced they were opening the 21-day practice window for LB Jordan Magee (hamstring) before Quinn spoke. Quinn provided some more injury updates, saying that CB Trey Amos (ankle), S Nick Cross (illness/internal), and RB Jeremy McNichols (quad) would be full participants in practice this week. WR Stefon Diggs (hamstring), Percy Butler (hamstring), and S Tyler Owens (hamstring) won’t be practicing today, but Quinn is hopeful they’ll be able to go later in the week.
