The Clippers have signed free agents Miye Oni and Nathan Mensah to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts, the team announced today.
In a related move, Fletcher Loyer, who was also on an Exhibit 10 deal, has been waived.
Oni, 29, was the 58th overall pick in the 2019 draft. The former Yale star played three seasons with Utah from 2019-22 and has bounced between the G League and international stops in recent years.
The 6’5″ guard/forward, who competes for the Nigerian national team, played for the London Lions (England), Osceola Magic, Criollos de Caguas (Puerto Rico) and Joventut Badalona (Spain) from 2022-25 and played in both Puerto Rico and the Basketball Africa League last season. Oni’s last NBA stint came in 2024, when he spent training camp and the preseason with Memphis.
Mensah, a 6’9″ big man from Ghana, spent a few months during the 2023/24 season on a two-way contract with Charlotte after going undrafted in 2023. In addition to his 25-game NBA stint, the 28-year-old has also played in the G League, Greece, Romania and Turkey.
Both Oni and Mensah will likely be waived in the next few days, which would put them on track to earn bonuses worth up to $91K on top of their base salaries if they spend at least 60 days with the San Diego Clippers in 2026/27. Mensah played one game with San Diego last season, notes Law Murray of The Athletic (via Twitter).
