The Clippers and free agent wing Jordan Miller have reached an agreement on a three-year, $15.3MM deal, according to Shams Charania of ESPN (Twitter link).
Miller, the 48th overall pick in the 2023 draft, played sparingly during his first two NBA seasons, but he emerged as a reliable rotation player in 2025/26, averaging 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 22.1 minutes per game on .531/.345/.777 shooting in 60 outings. He was promoted from a two-way contract to a standard deal in February.
The Clippers held a team option on Miller for 2026/27 that would have paid him approximately $2.5MM. If the club had exercised that option, the 26-year-old would have had a smaller cap hit this coming season but would have been on track for unrestricted free agency in 2027.
Instead, the Clippers turned down the option and issued Miller a qualifying offer, ensuring that he would be a restricted free agent and that they’d have the right of first refusal if he signed an offer sheet with a rival suitor. It didn’t come to that, with the two sides coming to terms on a new multiyear deal that will keep the former Miami Hurricane in L.A.
