Ahead of the regular season, the Clippers have waived four players, announcing on Saturday (via Twitter) that guard Blake Wesley, center Nathan Mensah, and wings Miye Oni and Jahmyl Telfort have been cut.
All four players have some NBA experience, though only Wesley and Telfort were in the league last season. Wesley, the 25th overall pick in the 2022 draft, has logged 187 regular season appearances for San Antonio and Portland, including 31 for the Trail Blazers in 2025/26.
Telfort was on a two-way deal with the Clippers for the first couple months of last season and made eight NBA appearances; neither Mensah nor Oni has played in an NBA regular season game for multiple years. Each of those three players would be two-way eligible this season, but Wesley isn’t, since he has accumulated four years of NBA service.
All four players were on Exhibit 10 contracts, so they’re strong candidates to join the San Diego Clippers in the G League, where they could earn bonuses on top of their base G League salaries for spending at least 60 days with L.A.’s affiliate.
The Clippers, who officially brought back Cam Christie on a two-way contract earlier today, now have 15 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals, so their roster is set for the regular season, barring any last-minute moves.
