The Buccaneers’ opening drive was as impressive as the Cowboys’.

Jalon Daniels led Tampa Bay on a 15-play, 73-yard drive that ate 10:58 off the clock. Bucky Irving caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Daniels to tie the Bucs with the Cowboys 7-7.

Daniels, the undrafted rookie who is making his second start in place of the injured Baker Mayfield, completed 8 of 8 passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 11 yards on two carries.

The Cowboys had three defensive penalties on the drive, including a defensive holding penalty on DaRon Bland that negated a sack of Daniels by Shemar James on third down.
