The Bucks have signed center Jake Stephens, the team announced in a press release. Details of the deal weren’t specified, but it figures to be a non-guaranteed training camp that includes Exhibit 10 language.

Stephens, 26, went undrafted out of Chattanooga in 2023 and spent a year in the G League with the Stockton Kings and Capital City Go-Go before playing overseas for the past two seasons. He competed in Spain and Serbia in 2024/25 and then suited up for KK Split in Croatia in ’25/26.

In 61 games for KK Split last season in the Croatian domestic league and the Adriatic League, the 6’11” big man averaged 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 16.1 minutes per contest.

While there’s a chance that Stephens could get the opportunity to compete for a two-way spot in training camp and the preseason, he seems more likely to be waived well in advance of opening night in order to join the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s G League affiliate. His Exhibit 10 contract would put him in line to earn a bonus worth up to $91K if he spends at least 60 days in the NBAGL.

The Bucks now have a full 21-man offseason roster, with 17 players on standard contracts (16 guaranteed), a pair on two-ways, and John Butler and Stephens on Exhibit 10 deals.
