Sorting through the rubble of Week 1 for the Cleveland Browns has been a bit of a chore. Very few positives, although Deshaun Watson to Denzel Boston led the NFL in air yards, and a whole lot of concerns, including about the team’s identity. A look at the snap counts shows some interesting usage rates on both offense and defense, while injuries were somewhat limited on Sunday.
The big injury was to RB Dylan Sampson, who was ruled out during the game around the same time OL Zion Johnson was hurt but returned.

Sampson’s injury has turned out to be serious enough for the Browns to place him on injured reserve on Tuesday, among eight total moves:
Placed on IR
Signed to Active Roster
Released from Practice Squad
Ross was elevated in Week 1 and played eight snaps on special teams.
Signed to the practice squad
Pahl’s return is interesting given that he was brought in to compete with Corey Borjorquez during training camp.
