EA Sports recently announced their full player and team ratings for the upcoming Madden NFL 27 video game. Given that Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is on the cover, it is of particular interest this year to see how Chicago‘s players stack up compared to the rest of the NFL.
With an 83 overall, the Bears are tied for the 12th-best record in the game to start this year. It’s worth noting that ratings can and often do change over the course of the season. For now, though, they have an 85 overall offense and an 82 defense, tying for the 12th-best offense and tying for the 9th-best defense in the game. This differs from the analytics in both cases, as the Bears had the No. 9 offense by PFN Offense Impact Scoring and the No. 23 defense by PFN Defense Impact Scoring last year.
