The Cowboys activated safety P.J. Locke off injured reserve, the team announced Saturday.
His return gives the Cowboys added health in the safety room.
The Cowboys have had Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark rotate at the safety position opposite Malik Hooker in recent weeks. Safety Jalen Thompson remains on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.

The Cowboys placed Locke on injured reserve on Sept. 26, six days after he injured his foot, and he returned to practice Oct. 23.
Locke played only three snaps in the Week 2 win over Washington, pulling up while running to tackle running back Rachaad White.
He had three tackles in the first two games.
The Cowboys also elevated tight end James Mitchell from the practice squad to the active roster. Tight end Luke Schoonmaker is questionable with a groin injury after not practicing on Thursday or Friday.
Mitchell, a fifth-round pick of the Lions in 2022, has played 35 games in his career.
