What is the truth behind Kangana Ranaut’s viral video?
Contrary to the claims circulating online, the video is not from Karwa Chauth 2026. It dates back to June 2026, when Kangana visited the Shree Chamunda Mata Temple and Gajanan Maharaj Temple in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
During her visit, the actress offered prayers for Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he completed 4,400 days in office, marking the milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving Prime Minister in terms of consecutive tenure.
Kangana had also shared a video of her temple visit on Instagram on June 11. In her caption, she said she had prayed for the Prime Minister’s excellent health, strength and long life, expressing hope that the coming decade under his leadership would bring development, prosperity, security and pride to India.

Kangana Ranaut has not reacted to viral claims
The old footage has resurfaced on social media with a misleading connection to the October 29 Karwa Chauth celebrations. While Kangana did offer prayers for PM Modi during her Jodhpur visit, there is no evidence that the rituals were performed as part of Karwa Chauth. So far, Kangana has not issued any reaction to the viral video or the claims circulating online.
