The Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 2-2, tied with the Cincinnati Bengals at the bottom of the AFC North. Following a frustrating loss on Thursday night in Cleveland, the Steelers are left with more questions than answers heading into Week 5. The defense wasn’t up to par, and the offense left much on the field. You would think a game where both D.K. Metcalf and Roman Wilson went over 100 receiving yards would lead to a win. Jaylen Warren has been splendid through four weeks.
One statistic is very troubling for the Steelers offense. According to Ryan Paganetti, former NFL coach and current analyst, the Steelers are 32nd in the NFL with 50.6% of their pass plays going for zero yards or fewer. Involving Michael Pittman Jr. would be ideal given the investment in the former Colts receiver. One way or another, Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy have to figure this out, and there is no reason for more anemic passing offenses in the NFL to be ahead of the Steelers.
