Arizona Cardinals fans are already abandoning the bandwagon

One week makes all the difference.

The Cardinals were a meager 4.5-point underdogs, they had people starting to believe and then it went sideways, and now the Cardinals are back to 8.5-point underdogs ahead of the matchup with the Niners according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Last week on game day, we saw the belief in the direction of the Arizona Cardinals soaring, as 85% of fans thought they were heading in the right direction, with a majority excited about the defensive performance against the Chargers.

Then, reality comes crashing down, you have the worst offensive performance in a decade (when the starters are healthy) and the defense plays valiantly but still gets beat up by a backup quarterback.

So, now we see the doubt starting to creep in as the belief in the direction of the team is down big time.

A nearly 30% drop because they lost to maybe the best team in the NFL, means fans are wanting the turnaround to be swift and that they thought it was close after week one.

I think part of the non-belief stems from fans are not confident heading into this one. As an astonishing 64% don’t think the Cardinals will be competitive in this one.
