Former first-round pick Dillon Jones is signing with the Sixers on an Exhibit 10 deal, reports Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports (Twitter link).

The 26th overall pick in the 2024 draft, Jones spent his rookie season in Oklahoma City, then was traded to Washington during the summer of 2025. Waived by the Wizards at the end of the preseason last fall, the former Weber State standout caught on with the Knicks in January 2026 and finished the season on a two-way contract with the club.

In two NBA seasons, Jones has made 61 appearances (three starts), averaging just 2.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 9.7 minutes per game, with a shooting line of .373/.250/.656.

Jones has been more effective in the G League, where he appeared in 42 contests for the Rip Ciy Remix and Westchester Knicks in 2025/26 and filled up the box score by averaging 15.9 PPG, 7.0 APG, and 6.9 RPG on .429/.358/.777 shooting in 35.4 MPG.

While he didn’t have a significant hand in it, it’s worth noting that Jones has accomplished the rare feat of winning an NBA championship in each of his first two years in the league. He logged 46 minutes in 10 playoff appearances with the Thunder in 2025 but wasn’t playoff-eligible for the Knicks in 2026.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed training camp deal that can be converted into a two-way contract before the start of the regular season or makes a player eligible for a bonus worth up to $91K if he’s waived and then spends at least 60 days with his team’s G League affiliate.

For what it’s worth, Philadelphia does currently have a two-way opening on its roster alongside Caleb Love and Rayan Rupert, so Jones could get a chance to compete for that spot in training camp.

No corresponding move will be necessary to officially sign Jones, since the 76ers currently have 20 players under contract. That includes 13 on guaranteed contracts, Jabari Walker on a partially guaranteed deal, Love and Rupert on two-way pacts, and the rest on Exhibit 10 deals.
