In their first official injury report of the 2026 season, the Patriots don’t have many names. One stands out.
Running back TreVeyon Henderson did not practice, due to an ankle injury.
It happened nearly two weeks ago, when Henderson slipped on the turf at practice. He hasn’t practiced since then.

If Henderson, a second-round pick in 2025, can’t go, it will mean more work for Rhamondre Stevenson. Corey Kiner is the only other tailback on the 53-man roster; Hassan Haskins and Lan Larison (that’s a lot of alliteration from anxious anchors placed in powerful posts) are on the practice squad.
Also not practicing on Sunday were defensive tackle Christian Barmore (knee) and offensive lineman Ben Brown (knee).
The Patriots will issue another report on Monday. The Tuesday report will include the official designation for the injured players — questionable, doubtful, or out.
