With former first-round wideout Ricky Pearsall dealing with an injury, the San Francisco 49ers turned to an old friend. Deebo Samuel is reportedly back with the team on a one-year deal.
That deal can reach up to $7 million, per NFL Network.
Samuel, a former second-round pick by the 49ers, spent his first six NFL seasons with San Francisco. He was traded to the Washington Commanders ahead of the 2025 NFL season, and scored five receiving touchdowns in his first — and only — year with the team.
