The New York Knicks were the stars of the show on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday.
The episode was all about the Knicks and their historic NBA championship won over the weekend. Fallon spent his entire monologue telling stories and jokes about the team. Spike Lee then joined Fallon on the set to introduce the entire team before they walked out with the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, head coach Mike Brown, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges then joined Fallon on the couch for interviews.
The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games to win the NBA championship for the first time since 1973.
