The Thunder completed a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers with a 115-110 win in Game 4 on Monday to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Monday’s win moved the defending champions to an unblemished 8-0 in the post-season, as they also swept the Phoenix Suns in Round 1.
Canada’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder in Game 4 with a game-high 35 points.
The Thunder will now await the winner of the second-round series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs to play for the right to represent the West in the NBA Finals.
Meanwhile, despite their best effort on Monday, the Lakers will head into another off-season full of question marks.
None more so than the status of 41-year-old LeBron James, who is not under contract for next season.
James has still not officially committed to playing another season, which would be his 24th in the NBA.
