San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk will reportedly be getting back the $14,926 that he was fined by the NFL after what it believed were beer-chugging celebrations.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL is rescinding the fine after Juszczyk said in his appeal that he was pretending to drink a juice box and not a beer.

“Mr. Juszczyk finally stated that the fine is hypocritical with the amount of Bud Light sponsorships surrounding the NFL,” read part of the letter referencing the league’s reported $250 million per deal with Anheuser-Busch InBev.
Juszczyk, whose nickname is “Juice,” caught a 6-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter of the 49ers’ 35-13 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. After celebrating with teammates, Juszczyk turned back toward the crowd while in the end zone and imitated chugging a drink.
“I don’t know how else to say it: I wasn’t drinking beer in my celebration,” Juszczyk told reporters after the news was reported. “I think you guys all know my nickname is ‘Juice.’ I have juice on my pads. The stadium yells ‘Juice’ when I catch the ball. When I celebrate, I celebrate by drinking juice, and it’s been that way for years. So I was surprised as anybody when I got a fine this week.”
Juszczyk won’t be on the field for a few weeks to add to his juice box celebration total for the season. After hyperextending his knee on Sunday, he is set to miss time.
