The Philadelphia Eagles are currently projected to make a top five pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
If there’s an “upside” to losing six games in a row to drop to 2-6, well, this is it.
Here’s a look at the 2027 NFL Draft order for non-playoff teams via Tankathon:
The Eagles are narrowly separated from the No. 4 pick, which is the Indianapolis Colts’ pick owed to the New York Jets from last year’s Sauce Gardner trade. (Yikes!) The difference between them is 0.008 in the strength of schedule tiebreaker.

There’s a chance the tiebreaker could flip in the Eagles’ favor. But the Colts probably won’t be doing too much more winning this season. Ditto for the Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, and Miami Dolphins.
And also probably ditto for the Eagles as well?
You tell me how many more wins you see from this schedule:

The Colts look beatable. But they might be thinking the same about the Eagles.
There’s been a lot of talk about “tanking” … but the Eagles don’t need to lose on purpose to achieve the goal of higher draft positioning.
They’re already bad enough when they’re trying to win.
Who do you want the Eagles to draft? Which positions are you keying in on? These are the questions I’m posing to you on November 2.
