The best part of Victory Monday is celebrating that the Cleveland Browns still sit atop the AFC North and moved up, due to a bye, in the AFC playoff picture. The Week 7 win over the Tennessee Titans wasn’t pretty, but it continued to reveal some important things about the Browns as the huge Week 8 showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers looms.
With Cleveland fans so used to following the NFL draft order, a nice bonus on Victory Monday is tracking where the Los Angeles Rams ‘ first-round pick is currently slotted. The Rams, beset with injuries, knocked off the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, moving their record to 3-4.

While Monday Night Football is a matchup of two 2-4 teams, the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker likely means it will not impact where Los Angeles’ pick is by the end of Week 7.
The current 2027 NFL draft order going into Week 8 has the Rams picking 14th and the Browns selection still 26th:
Indianapolis Colts – Goes to the New York Jets
Dallas Cowboys – Goes to the New York Jets
Los Angeles Rams – Goes to the Cleveland Browns
Green Bay Packers – Goes to the Dallas Cowboys
How surprised are you that the Chargers are the lone winless team and the Vikings are the lone undefeated team? Do you think the Rams can find a way to make the playoffs, pushing the Browns extra pick further back?
