Guard Terrell Brown Jr. has agreed to a contract with the Jazz, agent Daniel Hazan tells NBA insider Chris Haynes (Twitter link).

While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, it’ll likely be a non-guaranteed training camp contract featuring Exhibit 10 language. That would entitle Brown to a bonus if he’s waived before the season begins and spends at least 60 days with Utah’s NBAGL affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.

Brown, 28, went undrafted in 2022 after spending his final college season at the University of Washington. The Seattle native has played in the G League for the past four seasons, having suited up for the Memphis Hustle and 2022/23 and the Greensboro Swarm — Charlotte’s affiliate team — since the 2023 offseason.

Brown, who signed Exhibit 10 contracts with the Hornets in 2023 and 2025, averaged 11.9 points, 6.4 assists (against 1.6 turnovers), 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 50 total games (25.7 minutes per contest) for the Swarm last season. He struggled with scoring efficiency, posting a .404/.325/.782 shooting line, but he helped Greensboro win the NBAGL championship in the spring.

In all likelihood Brown will be waived before the season begins and will head to the Stars to open 2026/27. The Jazz currently have 14 players on guaranteed standard contracts, Mo Bamba on a partially guaranteed deal, Harrison Ingram on an Exhibit 10 pact, and all three two-way spots filled. The team will be at 20 players under contract, one shy of the offseason limit, once Brown’s agreement becomes official.
