Come weekend, Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent will see yet another banger panel of guests. On Thursday, India’s Got Latent Season 2 dropped its first Netflix-exclusive episode, featuring Varun Dhawan, Medha Shankr, Nishant Tanwar and Sharon Verma on the panel, with Samay Raina as the host.
Several videos and images from the show have gone viral. In the episode, Samay is seen mimicking Varun Dhawan’s crooked smile. Medha Shankr, who has reportedly been romantically linked to Samay in media reports, is also seen engaging in fun banter with the comedian over their dating rumours.
One of the viral clips shows Varun asking a contestant to act something that he wants. When the contestant asks for a suggestion, Nishant jokes that he would act, but questions what Varun would do. The comment leaves everyone in splits, while Varun takes it sportingly and asks Samay to join the performance.
When Samay asks Varun to join them, the actor refuses with another joke.
“Nahi, show tumhaara hai. Paise hame mil rahe nahi hain. Paise tumhe banana hai,” Varun says. ( It’s your show and money is also yours)
The exchange gets even more entertaining when Samay asks everyone to become an animal. “Sab bante hain ek janwar,” he says before striking a pose and flashing an awkward side-smile, seemingly mimicking Varun’s trademark expression. Varun immediately joins in and copies the same expression, leaving the panel and audience laughing.
In another clip, Varun is seen crooning one of his tracks before Samay cheekily interrupts and roasts the song.
“Aise nahi chalega gaana yaar,” Samay says.( Song won’t work this way).
Varun responds, “Why? I thought songs like this work.”
Samay continues with his trademark dry humour, saying, “Accha gaana banao, apne aap chalega yaar.” ( Create good songs).
Varun then jokingly replies, “S**t yaar, mujhe laga chal hi jaata aise.”( I thought this would work).
The episode will drop on Netflix on September 4, 2026.
