Sixteen local boutiques are coming together for a weeklong shopping event coinciding with the release of “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” according to a community announcement.
The Fashion Week Boutique Crawl kicked off April 24 and will run through May 1, offering shoppers the chance to visit participating stores and enjoy exclusive in-store specials, according to the announcement.
Attendees can pick up a punch card at any participating boutique and visit the shops at their own pace. Those who visit at least 12 boutiques and turn in their completed punch card by noon on May 1 will be entered to win the VIP Grand Prize, which includes two tickets to the 7 p.m. showing of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” at AMC Rockford and a curated VIP goodie bag. Additional drawings for gift cards and fashion-themed prizes from participating shops will also take place.
The event is a collaborative effort to support local businesses and create an engaging experience for the community.
