The Patriots got their first win of the season on Sunday, but they lost a starting offensive lineman.
Right guard Mike Onwenu had to be carted off during the game and was ruled out with an ankle injury. Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports that Onwenu’s ankle is broken and confirmation of that injury would lead to a long absence from the lineup.

Onwenu made his 92nd start in Sunday’s 20-3 win over the Patriots. Greg Van Roten replaced him in the lineup after the injury.
Defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones (shoulder), safety Craig Woodson (shoulder), safety Dell Pettus (ankle), and tight end Eli Raridon (thigh) were also injured for the Patriots in Sunday’s win. The status of all those players will be updated ahead of next weekend’s trip to Jacksonville.
