The Pelicans have signed and waived Aziz Bandaogo, Keith Smith reports for Spotrac (Twitter link).
It’s unclear when the team signed the Senegalese big man, but he was waived on Wednesday. He likely signed an Exhibit 10 deal to receive a bonus worth up to $91K (on top of his typical salary) to play for New Orleans G League affiliate, the Laketown Squadron, which recently acquired his G League rights.
Bandaogo played five collegiate seasons, ending his career in Cincinnati, where he spent his junior and senior years. The 25-year-old 7’0″ center played 28 games for Buyukcekmece in Turkey last season, averaging 7.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in just 18.4 minutes per game.
He played three games for the Raptors’ 2026 Summer League team, contributing six points, eight rebounds, and six blocks in 19.9 total minutes.
