Former Baylor guard Obi Agbim has agreed to a training camp contract with the Warriors, according to Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot (Twitter link).

Agbim appeared in 33 games for the Bears last season as a fifth-year senior, averaging 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 33.3 minutes per night with .375/.356/.854 shooting numbers. He led Baylor in both three-point shots made and attempted, connecting at 78-of-219 from beyond the arc.

Agbim also played one season at Wyoming, two at Fort Lewis and one at Northeastern Junior College in Colorado.

Assuming Agbim signs an Exhibit 10 deal and is waived before the start of the 2026/27 season, he’ll be eligible for a bonus worth up to $91K if he spends at least 60 days with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s G League affiliate. Exhibit 10 contracts can also be converted into two-way deals.

Golden State is currently at the offseason roster limit with 15 players holding fully or partially guaranteed standard contracts, along with four others on Exhibit 10 contracts and a pair of two-way deals. Another move would have to be made before Agbim’s signing can be finalized, and it’s possible that he won’t stay on the roster very long.

The Warriors are reportedly interested in adding Summer League standout Graham Ike and still have an unsigned second-round pick in Lajae Jones.
