GREER, S.C. (FOX Carolina) — Morris-Jenkins is coming to the Greenville area, bringing more than 100 jobs.
To celebrate the new Greenville location, the company said it will hold a grand opening at 415 Industrial Court in Greer on Saturday, May 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be held at 1 p.m.
The company said Greer Mayor Rick Danner will cut the ribbon for the new location.
Morris-Jenkins said it hired 30 people at its first Greenville job fair and committed to 80 jobs in its first year.
Wages range from $18 an hour for paid entry-level training positions to $150,000 per year for experienced technicians. No job experience is required to start, the company said.
The Charlotte-based company specializes in air conditioning, plumbing and electrical.
