There are rumors that the Pittsburgh Steelers may be open to trading young standout cornerback Joey Porter Jr and the team has admitted it is at an “impasse” with the player over his contract status. He wants a new deal and he is entering the final year of his contract.

Porter has had success and he is a proven commodity at a premium position. He just turned 26 and he is in prime.
He would help most teams. Yes, the Raiders like their young cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Zeke Massses and have Eric Stokes and Darien Porter.
Look, you can never have enough talent at cornerback and Porter would be a tthe top of this group.
But he wouldn’t come cheaply. His contract extension will be large and the Steelers will likely ask for an early day two pick and probably day three pick in return for Porter.
