After parting ways with Michal Navratil after Wimbledon, Jiri Lehecka has added Frederic Fontang to his team.
There is a different face in the box of Czech star Jiri Lehecka this week in Los Cabos.
That’s Frederic Fontang, the longtime coach of Felix Auger-Aliassime.

After parting ways with the Canadian after nearly ten years, the former No.59 who retired from tennis in 1999 and then opened an academy in Pau, France, will begin a new journey with the No.12-ranked Czech.
24-year-old Lehecka recently split with longtime coach Michal Navratil, after eight years. He reached his first Masters 1000 final this year at Miami.

Fontang has previously worked with Jeremy Chardy, Caroline Garcia and Vasek Pospisil.
Seeded No.1 at Los Cabos, Lehecka will face Coleman Wong in his first match with Fontang at the helm.
