Jennings has earned over $18.5 million in his career. He’s been living on one-year deals for the majority of his career. The most recent deal Jennings signed netted him nearly $12 million.

Jennings turns 29 in July. The former seventh-round pick couldn’t have landed in a better spot. He’ll play alongside Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Surrounding Jennings with speed was always when he was at his best. He’ll play in an offense that will ask him to do a lot of the things he did under Kyle Shanahan.
The playing time should be there. Depending on how reasonable the incentives are, Jennings should reach them — unless he gets ejected in the final game of the regular season.
Seventh-rounders aren’t supposed to last more than a contract. So kudos to Jennings not only for carving out a role but also for making a name for himself in the NFL.
Jennings will finish his 49ers tenure with 210 receptions, 2,581 receiving yards, and 22 touchdowns.
