The Dolphins have locked down their center.
Center Aaron Brewer and the Dolphins reached an agreement today on a three-year, $52.5 million extension, including $37 million guaranteed, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.

His $17.5 million average annual salary puts him third-highest among centers, trailing only the Raiders’ Tyler Linderbaum ($27 million) and the Chiefs’ Creed Humphrey ($18 million), according to Spotrac.
Brewer was heading into the final year of his previous three-year, $21 million contract.
The 28-year-old went undrafted out of Texas State in 2020 and played his first four seasons with the Titans before joining the Dolphins in 2024.
Last season, he earned Second Team All-Pro honors and helped running back De’Von Achane rush for a career-high 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns. Achane, who recently signed an extension worth up to $68 million, also led the NFL in yards per carry with 5.7.

Brewer had been waiting on a new deal and has big aspirations for his future in Miami.
“I was second team All-Pro last year, but this year I want to be first team All-Pro,” Brewer told reporters during OTAs. “I wasn’t a Pro Bowler last year, I want to be a Pro Bowler this year. Nominee for Protector of the Year; I want to be Protector of the Year.
“I’m not Aaron Brewer from last year. I’m the Aaron Brewer that’s going to put on tape this year.”
