Warwickshire all-rounder Dan Mousley says the squad believes they can end this season with their ninth County Championship title.
The Bears have endured a torrid time in the T20 Blast but sealed a first win of the season with a club-record chase of 215 at Somerset on Sunday.
Mousley hit an unbeaten 71 and shared a 145-run stand with Beau Webster (112) in the six-wicket win, and stressed its importance for their red-ball campaign.
Warwickshire sit second in the Championship, five points behind defending champions Nottinghamshire heading into back-to-back away matches against Yorkshire and Somerset.
“We’re doing really well in the Championship, we’ve played some great cricket,” he told BBC Radio WM.
“Just to carry that momentum into the Championship is something we spoke about before the game, so to go and do that today was really pleasing.”
