The Clippers and free agent center Jamarion Sharp have agreed to terms on a two-way contract, agent Scott Nichols tells Michael Scotto of HoopsHype (Twitter link).

Sharp, who will turn 25 next month, went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2024 and has played primarily for the Texas Legends in the G League since then. The 7’5″ big man had a huge year for the Legends in 2025/26, earning a spot on the G League’s All-Defensive team and being named NBAGL Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league with 3.9 blocks per game.

Sharp’s rim protection is his calling card. He also led the NCAA in blocked shots in 2021/22 (4.6 per game) and 2022/23 (4.1) while playing for Western Kentucky. Playing for the Raptors at the Las Vegas Summer League this month, he averaged 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks in just 18.2 minutes per game across five appearances.

As Scotto notes, the expectation is that Sharp will provide depth in the middle for the Clippers while Yanic Konan Niederhauser recovers following a pair of procedures on his right foot. While the team hasn’t shared a recovery timeline for Niederhauser, it would be a surprise if he’s ready for opening night.

Sean Pedulla and 2026 second-round pick Nick Martinelli currently hold two-way contracts for the Clippers, leaving one open slot, so no corresponding roster move will be necessary to officially sign Sharp.
