Milestones are live across MLB, NFL and college football. When a player or team is closing in on something historic you’ll have the opportunity to collect a Milestone when it’s achieved. Similar to traditional collectibles like ticket stubs or souvenirs, Milestones are a way for you to remember where you were and how you felt when history was made.

How do I collect a Milestone?
Tap on the Milestone bar, which will appear on Yahoo Sports app and Yahoo Sports website Game pages and in the Yahoo Fantasy app Fantasy Feed.
From there, you’ll enter a lobby to wait for your Milestone digital collectible to be delivered. Hang out there to chat and react as the action unfolds.
When a Milestone is achieved, you have a short window to claim its corresponding collectible. You’ll see a clock begin to count down. Every person who is on the Game page or in the lobby becomes eligible to collect the Milestone.
At zero, the Milestone is awarded and you find out your rarity. Rarity is influenced by how many fans claimed the Milestone and is assigned at random.
There are special designs based on the Milestone type and rarity. There are two type tiers: “Common” and “Legendary” and five rarity tiers: “Immortal” (serial #1), “Hall of Fame” (the next 5% of Milestones allocated), “Elite” (the next 10%), “All-Star” (the next 25%) and “Starter” (the remaining 60%).

Claimed Milestones go right to your new Yahoo Sports Profile, and you can pin your favorites to the top. And not only that, you can collect Points with each Milestone you claim or trade it in for additional Points. Those Points can be used in the Yahoo Sports Shop, a new destination that enables users to reward their fandom with digital items.
