The working relationship between new Las Vegas Raiders’ head coach and offensive playcaller Klint Kubiak and star tight end Brock Bowers is already working brilliantly and it will likely only get better.
This offseason, an impressed Kubiak famously called his new toy a football robot from heaven. So far, their results together have been pretty unworldly.

Bowers already has 41 catches for 547 yards. He missed the first two games of the seoans with a knee injury and the 2024 No. 13 overall pick is still second in the NFL in receptions among tight ends. His 13.3 per catch average is leading the NFL among tight ends.
Bowers is on pace to have 102 catches for 1,366 yards and 12 touchdowns in 15 games. When he broke every rookie tight end record, Bowers had 112 catches for 1,194 yards and 5 touchdowns in 17 games.
Kubiak is using Bowers as a wide receiver often and they are exploiting defenses.
The working relationship is only going to get better and expect Bowers’ eye-popping numbers to only get more gaudy.
