Micah Parsons is reportedly targeting Nov. 25 as his return to the Green Bay Packers lineup, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The linebacker has not played since suffering a torn ACL in Week 15 last season. In August, he said it was “very realistic” he could return in Week 6, but that date has come and come and now Green Bay’s Thanksgiving Eve game against the Los Angeles Rams appears to be more realistic.

“It’s just about me making sure I have all the small things fixed first,” Parsons said earlier this month on his “The Edge” podcast. “What a lot of people don’t figure out is it’s not just the ACL. It’s like, why did the ACL happen? What was weak? Because it all works together. It’s a chain. And throughout the history of ACL, they notice if you come back early, there tends to be an overcompensation injury on the other side. … We just gonna make sure everything is right before.”
There is a return plan in place with Week 12 being the goal. Parsons is expected to return to practice this week and take part in individual drills. The following week he will participate in team drills, barring a setback. The 5-3 Packers have their bye week in Week 11, allowing an extra week of recovery and work before Parsons could potentially return to the field.
Parsons, who was acquired by the Packers in Aug. 2025 from the Dallas Cowboys, recorded 12.5 sacks, 41 total tackles and two forced fumbles over 14 games before suffering the injury.
