The Miami Dolphins are no longer winless. Thanks to the New York Jets, the Dolphins picked up their first win over the season in Week 7. While the game gave the Dolphins a reason to celebrate, the Jets found themselves on the other side of that equation.
In fact, it didn’t even take until the end of the game for one Jets player to express his frustration with the game. Star wideout Garrett Wilson was spotted yelling at a member of the team on the sideline.

While the broadcast initially said Wilson was shouting at quarterback Geno Smith, that wasn’t the case. Wilson was actually speaking to passing-game coordinator Seth Ryan, per ESPN.
Wilson had reasons for being upset, as he received just three targets during the team’s 28-25 loss.
On Monday, Jets coach Aaron Glenn downplayed Wilson’s sideline outburst, saying sometimes situations like that get “overblown,” per ESPN.
“Well, I think sometimes that’s overblown as far as what people think is happening,” Glenn said. “Sometimes those conversations could be totally something else.”
Glenn did, however, focused more on Smith and Wilson in his answer. The coach didn’t mention Ryan when talking through the sideline spat.
While Wilson did say he spoke with Smith at some point, both players said they were not angry with each other after the contest. Wilson did admit to feeling “frustrated” after the game, though didn’t point any fingers. The wideout was reportedly upset about the team’s play calling in the red zone, per ESPN.

Through seven games, Wilson has been one of the Jets’ biggest bright spots in what has been another disappointing start.
Despite Wilson’s struggles in Week 7, the Jets actually turned in their best offensive game of the season. The team scored a season-high 25 points in the loss, and rookie wideout Omar Cooper turned in another encouraging game, gaining a career-high 115 receiving yards and scoring a touchdown in the loss.
After falling to the Dolphins in Week 7, the Jets will try and bounce back against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. It could be a get-right game for Wilson and the Jets, as the Raiders have lost four straight and are considering major changes following Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
