And it was a Jab We Met moment once again for fans as exes Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor met and hugged each other again this year at the IIFA press conference on Thursday in Mumbai. The IIFA press conference saw Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna and Kareena-Shahid speaking about this year’s IIFA.

During the photo ops, Salman stood beside Kareena, while Rashmika was seen next to Shahid. However, towards the end, Kareena and Shahid, who were not seen interacting much, hugged and smiled.

Once again, it was awkward, but Kareena and Shahid decided to break the ice and greeted each other lovingly. In the video, Kareena leans in to greet him with a hug and an air kiss.

Netizens couldn’t stop gushing over their reunion once again. Many said that they should now work together in films.

Some reminisced about how Bebo and Shahid met last year, years after their breakup and moving on in life.

In last year’s clip, Kareena hugged Shahid during the press conference. The two were even seen chatting with one another while sharing the stage with other celebs such as Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon and Karan Johar.

Kareena and Shahid were extremely vocal about their relationship back in the 2000s. Being one of the most adored pairs in B-town at the time, they went on to share screen space in many projects, including ‘Fida’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’ and ‘Jab We Met’. However, the two reportedly parted ways just before ‘Jab We Met’ was filmed. Now, both Kareena and Shahid have moved on and are parents to two kids each.

Kareena is married to actor Saif Ali Khan and has two sons, whereas Shahid married Mira Rajput and has a son and a daughter. For the unversed, a month ago, Kareena met Mira Rajput for her talk show.
