Has NC State’s injury situation improved after a week off? No, not really. In addition to missing at least two starting linemen, State will again be without running back Duke Scott, so that’s unfortunate. Not as unfortunate as the Pack’s dilapidated ground game, but not far off.
Yousef Mugharbil joined the out-for-season list after the injury he suffered against Louisville, which is a bummer for a guy who has already been through a lot to get back to a point where he’s making an impact on the field.

Jimarion McCrimon isn’t listed at all on the report this week, so that’s a positive development, but Kamen Smith is questionable again. Working with a patchwork line is a little easier against the likes of Stanford than Wake or Louisville, at least.
Stanford’s most notable injured player is linebacker Matt Rose, who was a second-team All-ACC player in 2025 after racking up 106 tackles. He hasn’t played in a game for the Cardinal since the last week of September.
