The Detroit Lions may not be playing in Week 6, but that doesn’t mean we’re taking the week off. Why not use the opportunity to make some NFL predictions this early in the season and make ourselves look bad?
The staff is already off to a rough start, with only two out of seven Pride of Detroit members predicting “Thursday Night Football” correctly. But I’m sure everyone on staff is plenty happy that the Seattle Seahawks were downed by the Denver Broncos. AFC over NFC, always (unless it involves the Lions).

If I’m being completely honest, this week’s slate isn’t the best to just sit back and watch football. The London game between the Texans and Jaguars should be a solid start to the day. However, the 1 p.m. ET games features just one game between two teams with winning records: Ravens vs. Browns. It’s a little better in the 4 p.m. ET window, with Bills vs. Raiders marqueeing that time frame.
The real fireworks happen on Sunday night. Cowboys vs. Packers closes out Sunday with a big matchup for NFC playoff standings. The week ends with a whimper: a Commanders and 49ers game that shouldn’t be close.
But who knows how things will play out? Our staff made their best guesses for Week 6 below, picking games straight up and vs. the Vegas spread. Some have also picked the over/unders for each game. Enjoy.
