The Baltimore Ravens elevated offensive linemen Chuma Edoga and Kyle Hergel from the practice squad for their Week 6 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
The elevations indicate that at least one of Andrew Vorhees and Emery Jones, who are both listed as questionable after limited practice participation this week, will not play. Vorhees, who took over the starting right guard job after Vega Ioane moved to center, injured his foot in Week 4 and missed last Sunday’s win over the Falcons. Jones started in his place and played every snap despite suffering a knee injury.

This is Hergel’s third consecutive and final elevation from the practice squad. He signed in Baltimore to provide center depth after Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic both landed on injured reserve. If the Ravens want to keep him as their backup center after this week, he will have to be promoted to the 53-man roster.
Edoga made his Ravens debut last week, playing one snap as a sixth offensive lineman, on which he, through no real fault of his own, did not make contact with a defender. He will be available for that role against a depleted Browns defensive line on Sunday with emergency duties at tackle or guard.
