Denver Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins ran the ball 17 times for 41 yards and a touchdown during the team’s overtime win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6. Dobbins also caught three passes for five yards.
Why It Matters: If you take out Dobbins’ 16-yard run, his other 19 touches on Thursday night amounted to 30 yards, which is an abysmal 1.6 yards per touch. He did get into the end zone, though, which combined with a handful of catches allowed him to put up serviceable numbers versus Seattle. While Dobbins continues to function as the lead back, rookie Jonah Coleman (ankle) could return as early as Week 7 against the Cardinals, and once that happens it’ll be interesting to see how the Broncos divvy up the touches. For now, Dobbins is a capable RB3/flex.
