The Colts did what they do; they lost in Pittsburgh. Unable to finish drives and giving up huge plays on defense was the story of the afternoon. After going up 3-0, they never regained the lead. Every time the Colts got close, they had to settle for 3. Luckily, Spencer Schrader was on his game, but it wasn’t enough. An 80 and 50 yard score by Jaylen Warren was too much to overcome as the Colts fell, once again, to the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
The Titans and Texans were entrenched in the battle of the winless as one team would get off the schneid and the other would sink further down. Cam Ward and the Titans might really be that bad. They scored the first 3 but then allowed the Texans to rattle off the next 26. Jobs might be on the line as the season is quickly slipping down the drain. Lose again and the Titans might be eyeing a replacement for Ward in the draft with the No. 1 pick.
The Colts have work to do, but the Titans might be the best remedy to what ails them. Nothing is certain, but this is a great opportunity to get to 3-3 and finish the first third of the season at .500. Finding the end zone and putting up 6 in place of 3 is a great place to start. The Colts can do it, but they have plenty to tighten up before then.
