The fan favorite undrafted free-agent will be making his NFL debut for the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 against the Patriots.
The team announced cornerbacks Kani Walker and Te’Cory Couch were elevated for Sunday’s clash with New England:
Walker surged early in training camp before making a litany of plays in the preseason, including the first interception inside the new Highmark Stadium in the first exhibition contest against the Carolina Panthers.

The 6’2″, 203-pound rookie played his final season at Arkansas but spent 2022 – 2024 with current Bills defensive backs coach Jay Valai.
Couch has become the new Cam Lewis. He can fill in in the slot or play safety. He was also elevated a week ago against the Chargers.
Walker’s elevation is almost assuredly tied to the injury to Bills outside cornerback Christian Benford who is listed as questionable after not practicing all week with a toe injury.
While it’s unlikely Walker starts due to the presence of Maxwell Hairston and fellow rookie Davison Igbinosun, the undrafted free agent will serve as Buffalo’s primary backup at outside corner against Drake Maye and the Patriots.
