The Tampa Bay Buccaneers opened preparations for their Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers with several key players sidelined.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield did not participate Wednesday due to dislocating his right thumb he suffered against Minnesota. Wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. was also held out with an ankle injury, while outside linebackers Yaya Diaby (calf/shoulder) and Rueben Bain Jr. (groin/shoulder) were among seven Buccaneers who did not practice.

Running back Bucky Irving was limited with a glute injury. Linebackers SirVocea Dennis (calf) and Josiah Trotter (shoulder), along with defensive back Keionte Scott (toe), were also limited.
Green Bay had its own concerns Wednesday. Offensive linemen Aaron Banks (knee/toe) and Jacob Monk (quadricep), defensive tackles Karl Brooks (illness) and Anthony Campbell (ankle) did not participate. Warren Brinson, Edgerrin Cooper and Lukas Van Ness were limited.
Tampa Bay and Green Bay will continue preparations Thursday before final game-status designations are released later in the week.
