Namit Malhotra’s directorial Ramayana, starring Sai Pallavi, Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey, is just a few months away from release. The makers are leaving no stone unturned for the film’s promotions.

On Saturday, the cast of Ramayana was seen promoting the film with famous American YouTuber MrBeast, who came to the city to attend an event for the upcoming movie.

At the event, Ranbir Kapoor chanted “Jai Shri Ram”. He also lifted the Shiv Dhanush and prayed before and after lifting it. He was seen folding his hands while posing for the paparazzi.

At the event, a paparazzo told MrBeast, “Jai Shri Ram, MrBeast.” The YouTuber did not know how to respond, so Ranbir told MrBeast to reply by saying, “Jai Shri Ram.” The YouTuber quickly followed what the actor told him.

Later, Ranbir was seen explaining Lord Ram’s story to MrBeast. The actor said, “He was born as a prince and had everything. But he sacrificed all to fulfil his father’s promise and for his duties. He is known as a perfect man, and I hope that through this film, you can have a brief introduction to our culture, to our history and where it all began.”

Sai Pallavi, who is playing Sita in the movie, opted for a metallic golden-copper tissue silk saree and kept her hair braided. She paired the saree with a coordinating short-sleeved golden tissue blouse. The blouse was richly decorated with gold hand embroidery and zardozi work, particularly around the neckline, sleeves and bodice.

Ranbir Kapoor opted for a navy blue kurta-and-Nehru-jacket combination. He paired the ethnic ensemble with denim and completed his look with sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Ravi Dubey also opted for a similar kurta-and-Nehru-jacket combination, pairing the traditional layers with denim for a modern finish. MrBeast kept things casual in a dark-toned jacket, a basic T-shirt and jeans.

The trailer of Ramayana was released a couple of months ago and received a good response. However, a few netizens felt that Ranbir was miscast as Lord Ram, while Yash’s performance as Raavana grabbed everyone’s attention.
